The typical Mughal solider was on foot all there armor was made of iron and steel under that armor

Some important part of there armor was a Khud. It was the head piece of there armor it was made of steal. The Baktar was the main chest piece and is made of steal and was chain mail. The Dastwanah was also made of steal and covered the arms and hands. The iron leg armor is called the Mozah-i-ahani.
The weapon they used were called a Talwar a curved sword. Some used a gun also known as a blunderbuss or a musket. They also had rockets called a Cushoon. This was the most advanced thing they had at the time. It was a very powerful weapon and it was maned by 200 hundred men per unit.

There Role in The Empire
There role in there empire was to conquer and keep order through out the empire. Like all military's there main purpose when they are not out fighting was to defend the there citizens and there government.
The Battle of Delhi
The Mughal empire was creating tension against the Hindu king Hem Chandra Vikramaditya The Mughal empire was creating tension against the Hindu king Hem Chandra Vikramaditya. Delhi was a really important city it was located on the river banks of Yamuna.Like all battles the Mughal empire were well prepared. There first attack was on the right side of Hemu's army. They had to retreat to relieve his right side. After that the battle was going towards Hemu's. This was famous because the Mughal was a great military and this was an important city for them to capture.
The Battle of Haldighati
The two armies marched to one another close to the town of Gogunda. The Mughal army greatly out numbered the Mewar. The battle lasted for 7 hours. After the battle a total amount of 18000 soldiers died in battle. After the battle it rained. The blood from the casualties mixed with the rain thus being called a lake of blood. After the battle the Mewar retreaded to the hills. He tried to attack again it failed.
